Today's Six Nations.

All the family are home this weekend, including Adrienne who is No 3 son, Tim's fiancee from Ireland. We are all going out for dinner. I was going to be the 'designated driver'. I have just booked a taxi. That's assuming no-one hit me on the head at half-time and I dreamed all that came next.

UPDATE - Gatland has just let his secret out of the bag. He's told the BBC that he went into the dressing room at half-time and gave them all a good b*****king and told them that their purpose in taking the field is to "play rugby" and "respect the ball". The man is a maestro.

How about calling in Gatland to help you overthrow our part-time MP? At last he knows the meaning of the word respecdt.....

anon - lets stick with the rugby. It looks as if Gatland is a 'lucky' coach. It remided me of the last Grand Slam season when France should have scored 40 against us in the first half, only to let us back it in the second. How England managed to lose yesterday's game is a total mystery to me.

Are you sure you are not posting as Dr Wood?
How many other supporters do you have in the wood work?
It is going to hit the fan soon.

prasit - It seems that Dr Christopher Wood has been using this blog as his own for the last few weeeks. He is a man of strong and well argued opinion. OK with me. My impression is that there are rather more opponents commenting on posts at the moment than there are supporters.

I'm Welsh, away from home and miss it a lot, and here's Glyn Davies with an excellent web site on things to do with Wales.

I do urge folks to support Glyn Davies. He is a man of good principles who deserves to be voted into the heart of politics.

A vote for Glyn is a vote for common sense.

Christopher - you are welcome to share my site - especially since you are generally supportive and challenging, depending on the issue.

Glyn, we who visit your site regularly appreciate very much the way you encourage a "market place of ideas". I believe your web site is the Welsh embodiment of a market place of ideas.

("Market place of ideas" is a phrase that often crops up in Con Law classes in US law schools (Constitutional Law) and speaks to open dialogue which allows participants to judge and challenge new ideas - really not that different from the professional/technical legal arguments I make on behalf of clients here in the USA.)
