Valentine's Romance

Roses are red my love.
Daffodils are flutey.
My love for you grows
in line with fuel duty.

With thanks to Matt.

I can't say that I have a Welsh heart to send flowers too. Being single has its compensations. I've looked at some Welsh dating sites to find the next Mrs. Wood, but sadly I'm too far away from Wales - even though its less flight time to DC airport (once one is on the plane) than traveling to Glasgow (once one is on the train for Crewe thence onward to Glasgow (bee-up, I can't remember if its Glasgow Central or Glasgow Queen Street that the train from Crewe pulls into). I seem to recall that there are flights between Cardiff (Rhoose) and Glasgow airport, but they were always out of my league/PhD stipend (albeit padded with the maximum amount I could earn for demonstrating in labs and workshops). 'Before anyone asks, "demonstrating" from a Scottish PhD science/chemistry perspective does not equate "stick this Jimmy"/demos on the street!
