When does embranglement become unacceptable?

I just think that this should appear on my blog. Its amusing, as well as informative. Its also interesting that serving as Housing Spokesman for England leads to an impossible level of embranglement with a 'Presidential' campaign, while representing Montgomeryshire and appearing on multiple media celebrity programmes is not embranglement too far.

Even the arrogant Opik can feel you breathing down his neck Glyn. He's taking a BIG gamble on this one and it's unlikely to pay off. Ros is the out and out favourite. Lembit Opik is at last paying the price of his addiction to publicity et al. He's running scared of Ros Scott AND Glyn Davies. Enjoy!

It's a bit confusing why Lembit has stepped down from frontline politics at the moment because clearly he hasn't a snowballs chance in hell of winning the presidency. Take a look at Ros Scott's presidential website and Lembit's, and compare who has the most support and endorsements already - It's a done deal!

Opik's ego will be his downfall. He's ignoring the fact that he's way behind the Baroness in the polls and seems to think the presidency role is his divine right. How deluded can you be! Lots of chickens are coming home to roost and Opik, as usual, trundles along thinking he can get away with his awful behaviour. Maybe someone should teach him the meaning of the word decorum. This is the beginning of the end for him, and not before time........He's got away with far too much for far too long

Oh goody, it means he'll be doing even less work for us in Mont than usual! Travelling the country trying to win votes, when it seems that Ros Scott already has it in the bag, and spending even less time than usual in Mid Wales. What a waste of space he's become. To think I voted for this egotistical fool - never again. Me and so many others. Let's hope that his party gives him a bloody nose and he wakes up and smells the coffee.

Lots of negative comment. And I did not approvr the downright offensive. I was talking to Mick Bates last week, and he was very confident that Lembit Opik would win the presidency of the Liberal Democrats. I suppose Mick thinks that being well known by all the activists will carry him to victory. It would be a severe blow to him if he failed to win. I still cannot see why he should give up what seems to me a less than onerous responsibility.

At last, a bit of honesty from Lembit Grope-It! His doomed to fail bid for presidency video is called Primary Colurs.
The presidential canditate in PC was a big time philanderer.......

anon - seems that you've read the quite extraordinary 'manifesto' that has acompanied his 'Presidential' bid. Primary Colours is not a link that I'd have gone for myself.
