Tomorrow on the campaign trail.

Now that we know tomorrow is the day on which the starting gun is going to be fired, I will be using this blog (and my facebook site) to tell helpers and supporters what my plans are for the following day.

Tomorrow morning, I will be calling on commercial properties in Newtown.

Tomorrow afternoon, I will be leafleting and talking to those I meet in Pontrobert, and attending a meeting in the Village Hall at 3,30 (on a non-political matter).

Tomorrow at 5.30, we will be meeting outside our office on Broad St. for a leafleting session at Welshpool. We were going to hit Newtown big on the day the election is called, but we're printing a 'Newtown leaflet' which will not be ready until late afternoon, Wednesday.

On Wednesday, we'll be in Llanfair Caereinion in the morning, and Newtown thereafter.

Anyone interested in joining in - glyndavies8@btinternet.com or 07968082891.

Be careful with your postings! We all know what the Libs are capable of, especially now they're running scared in Montgomeryshire......
If they know exactly where you're going, they could well try and sabbotage things for you

Not being negative, but who are you meant to vote for in Montgomery - I don't want Labour back in because I hate Brown and his cronies, I also don't trust the tories, they will carry on privatising the country which with the latest round of bail outs (banks and others) it is clear that UK plc is not a strategy that works, the Lib Dems would give everything to Europe and who wants Lempick back in anyway, UKIP are obviously corrupt and although I hate what Brussels stands for, UK is in no position to stand on its own, Plaid is a waste of time and if you want to save money, close the assembly as its nothing but a talking shop - the best thing anyone can do in Montgomery on May 6th is to stay at home and don't vote!

Tim - in response to your issues - you want both Brown and Lembit out, therefore vote Conservative. Simple! You say the Tories will privatise everything.... and Labour haven't already??! The bank bailouts were by Labour, the private finance initiative was by Labour, the planned sell off of the post offices is by Labour! I don't think you'll find the Tories will privatise much else. Plaid is indeed a waste of time, but I disagree that the UK cannot stand on its own two feet. Of course we need to trade with Europe, America and the rest of the World - but through free trade negotiations and by being competitive - not by paying billions and billions of tax payers money to be member of a club who's only benefit is trade which could be got through other means, but who downsides are truly frightening. So, in Montgomeryshire - use your head - and vote Tory, or if not, UKIP. I know they are not perfect, but what politician isn't?

UKIP will pull out of the EU, no more farm subsidies, where will that leave the farmers in Montgomery?

We haven't heard from Dr Wood for a while, I'm wondering if he's seen the various University Guides published by both The Times & The Guardian? Doesn't make very good reading for Welsh Univesities.

Isn't "Education" or what passes for Education under the control of the Parish Council on the Bay?
