. They thrive in sunny dry weather. Today has been the first time I've found myself free in a dry spell to tidy them up by removing spent flowers, and appreciate their cheerfulness. We grow a few varieties. I've chosen six that show the range of types that are available. Hemerocallis are really easy to grow, easy to multiply through division, and during sunny days in July/August provide us with lots of pleasure.
