Scotland and Wales have regional governments. The equivalent to Wales in Germany is Baden-Wuttemburg. If you want any First Minister on the podium in any future rugby world cup then you vote for independence. Although on second thoughts the chances of Wales winning the rugby world cup are as slim as Lembit Opik returning to Krypton.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34112832.post-56115631161915100052007-10-22T18:43:00.000+01:002007-10-22T18:43:00.000+01:00Bring back Tony, at least we won the Ashes, Rugby ...Bring back Tony, at least we won the Ashes, Rugby world cup, England football qualifing for touraments, Wales winning the Grandslam etc. Gordon has the midas touch in reverse, the country can't afford to have him in office much longer.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34112832.post-75531639319758883032007-10-22T17:13:00.000+01:002007-10-22T17:13:00.000+01:00aran - don't seem to be apologetic for disagreeing...aran - don't seem to be apologetic for disagreeing. I would be upset if no-one disagreed. Unfortunately no time tonight to persue the drug legalisation issue. In part, I post on things where I expect disagreement. I did think that GB looked like a fish out of water.

Left field - I suppose you have a point - but he did look ridiculous, as did the French President. Of course he would, and so would Cameron if he ever became PM. A fair bit more dour, granted, but just as willing to spin.

It certainly turned my stomach. Events like this need to be free from media-hungry bandwagon jumpers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
